Pinnacle Treatment Centers Breaks Ground on Indiana Treatment Campus

Pinnacle Treatment Centers recently broke ground on Recovery Works Martinsville, a new comprehensive treatment campus and recovery community in Martinsville, Ind. The campus will offer individualized treatment for adult men and women, incorporating a variety of evidence-based interventions and practices.

Says Pinnacle Treatment Centers’ CEO Joseph Pritchard says, “Whatever we can do with whatever services we can provide to help start the process to get you the care you need to save your life, we’ll do it. We’re truly grateful to be part of Martinsville.”

Betty Ford Center Starts Expansion

On May 4, the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation broke ground on its expansion of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. The four-year, $30 million project will grow the center from 137,200 square feet to 170,000 square feet and increasing the residential capacity. Chris Yadron, Ph.D., vice president of recovery services for Hazelden Betty Ford’s West Region and administrator of the Betty Ford Center, says, “More space means room for more people to heal.”

Wasatch Crest’s New Women’s Recovery Residence

Utah-based Wasatch Crest Treatment is opening a women’s recovery residence this month. An extension of its men’s sober living program, the new women’s residence can accommodate up to eight female clients and will offer a supportive environment for women to heal. “We are genuinely excited to help women who have struggled with substance and alcohol abuse create new, amazing lives in recovery,” says Jim Huffman, founder and CEO of Wasatch Crest Treatment.

NAADAC Free Webinar Series

On May 19 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. EST, NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Providers, will host the webinar “‘Keys to the Kingdom’: Developing Culturally Relevant SUD Education for Black Addiction Professionals.” Members of NAADAC will obtain 1.5 CEs for free, and non-members will obtain 1.5 CEs for $20. Anyone can participate in the webinar for free, and registration is open.
