Addiction Treatment Industry Newswire
11/20/2014 -ATIN – Venerable Pennsylvania non-profit Gaudenzia will be opening a new facility in lower Bucks County this month, adding to the already considerable facilities array and services provision that make Gaudenzia one of the largest, most successful and interesting addictions non-profits in the nation.

Gaudenzia Lower Bucks

Gaudenzia Lower Bucks, as the new Pennsylvania facility will be called, is being made possible on the funding side principally by the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission, the Bucks County Department of Behavioral Health and Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania, according to Gaudenzia, which says services provided at the substantial new facility will be for adults suffering from addiction or co-occurring addiction and mental health issues. The new facility will provide screening and assessment, detox services and inpatient residential addiction treatment services.

Amongst the Largest Centers in the Nation

Operating under a relatively low profile nationally, Gaudenzia is in fact one of the largest addiction treatment centers in the country. The center operates 141 separate programs serving a wide demographic of clientele in three states, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, the non-profit says.
