SoberTalkTV

With the big success of video sharing sites like You Tube, it’s not surprising that video is beginning to hit the addiction Internet marketing scene. Earlier this year, Kemper Burt, a veteran Internet and IT player, started SoberTalkTV.com, which is an innovative site that offers video downloading and sharing to the sober community. But Burt might face some competition from web site Addicted.com, which also has video capability and is backed by Internet entrepreneur John Shegerian. Shegerian was one of the first Internet players to achieve some commercial success after he launched a student loan site in the 1990s. The two new web sites are now joining the crowded addiction Internet directory and portal scene, which includes players like SoberRecovery.com and Sober.com. Sober.com was the first out of the starting gate in addiction Internet marketing, but now appears to lag in key industry search terms on engines like Yahoo and Google. Some Sober.com clients have recently expressed strong dissatisfaction with responses from their ads on Sober.com.
