Major Addictions Website Sale as Internet Deal Market Heats Up

05/30/2012 -ATIN- A veteran addiction Internet marketer from the earliest days of addictions Internet marketing has sold his latest website, Treatment-Centers.net, in one of the biggest addictions website transactions since CRC Health Corp paid over $9M in a two-step deal to Howard Brown for his pioneering 1990s 4therapy.com website. In January, Bernie Grohsman sold Treatment-Centers.net for $2M to an entrepreneurial family with interests in helping people gain access to treatment and recovery resources.  And, according to Grohsman, Treatment-Centers.net certainly does that: “I am quite proud of this business because, while it was for-profit, it existed to help the public completely free of charge,” Grohsman said, adding that this meant that some people might have accessed the site to learn about free care provided by the state, but access to that information was being funded by the higher end private clients whose addictions providers paid for Treatment-Centers.net’s services.
