Couples in Recovery
The NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Providers, webinar “Trauma and Addiction Recovery: How to Work with Couples” will be held on December 1 from 3 to 5 p.m. EST. Therapist and researcher Robert J. Navarra, PsyD, LMFT, MAC, will discuss managing triggers and obstacles for couples affected by addiction. Because divorce rates are estimated to be four times higher for relationships impacted by addiction than those that aren’t, addressing this issue is critical. Professionals can expect to learn about relational approaches to addiction recovery and how to apply three trauma interventions. Registration is free.
