Hazelden Betty Ford’s “Let’s Talk” Webinar

On April 21 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. EST, the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation will host the webinar “Veterans and Substance Use: Resources at the Ready” as part of its “Let’s Talk” series. Hazelden research scientist Kate Gliske, Ph.D., and psychologist and Iraq War veteran Dustin Brockberg, Ph.D., will discuss behavioral health challenges faced by military veterans and their families. A certificate of completion will be awarded for attending the event. Registration is open.

New Additions to Brightline’s Executive Team

Brightline, a California-based provider of behavioral health therapy and coaching services for children and teens, has announced several additions to its executive team as it makes plans for expansions in 2021. The additions include Haleigh Tebben as chief commercial officer, Gary Alpert as chief strategy officer and head of business development, Zack Still as chief information officer and chief security officer, and James Fitzpatrick as commercial vice president.

Modern Health Bolsters Staff

Modern Health, a digital platform that partners with employers to provide mental health therapy and coaching services to workers, has expanded its leadership team. The company has hired Lisa Giacinti as its vice president of partnerships and Kostja Mirkovic as its vice president of revenue operations and strategy.

New Facility for Clearbrook Treatment Centers

Clearbrook Treatment Centers recently opened a new facility, Clearbrook Massachusetts, located in Baldwinville, Mass. The center has a detox unit, a clinical building, and fully furnished residential cottages and offers treatment for both substance use and mental health disorders.

BayMark Acquires PIDARC

BayMark Health Services announced the acquisition of Partners in Drug Abuse Rehabilitation Counseling (PIDARC), a prominent medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program in Washington, D.C., that provides services for opioid use disorder (OUD). Says PIDARC founder Howard Hoffman, “We are proud to advocate for the care of those struggling with opioid use, and as we began looking for someone to carry on our legacy, we became confident that BayMark is the only company whose experience, expertise and understanding will continue to help that legacy grow.
