“Changing the Conversation on Substance Use,” with former NBA star Chris Herren
The Community Fund of Darien is hosting a virtual program, “Changing the Conversation on Substance,” featuring Chris Herren, a celebrated former NBA star and wellness advocate, on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. EST. Herren will talk about his journey from addiction to sobriety and address topics like gateway drugs, prescription drug use, vaping, the impact of COVID-19 and prevention. The program will end with live questions and is free. Registration is required.
NAADAC Webinar
As a new session of representatives, senators and presidential administration take office, the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) will host a webinar, “117th Congress: What You Need to Know,” as part of its free webinar series on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 3 p.m. EST. The webinar will earn NAADAC members 1 free continuing education (CE) hour. Nonmembers can pay for the 1 CE. Registration is now open.
