Indiana Non-Profit in Post Office Treatment Conversion

09/13/2018 -ATIN- A non-profit in Columbus, IN, has raised enough money to began work on converting a former post office into a 24-bed residential addiction center.

The Indiana chapter of faith-based Volunteers of America will be the owner operator of the new center, which will have the VOA addiction treatment brand name Fresh Start Recovery Center.

VOA has dozens of treatment centers nationwide, and also provides a host of other social services for those in need. A Indiana state agency is guaranteeing a loan of $1.2M to fund the new center, with a local group coming up with an addictional $200K.
