Sid Goodman Accepts Newly Created ED Post at Florida House

07/08/2017 -ATIN - A top addiction treatment talent is filling a newly created post at the Florida House Experience, among South Florida's fastest growing providers. Sid Goodman has accepted the executive director spot, one of a series of hiring coups pulled off this year by founder and CEO Sherief Moustafa, who through facility expansion and by progressive deepening of clinical and management ranks is seeking to thrust Florida House into the very top tier of addiction centers nationwide.

A high profile designer of clinical programs, a renowned clinical executive and a major pioneering addiction industry entrepreneurial force, Goodman is in a class all his own when it comes to treatment industry executive talent. His hiring is a major feather in CEO Moustafa's cap, and far from the only recruitment tour-de-force at Florida House lately. Earlier this year another one of addiction treatment's top executives, former BHOPB CEO Alan Stevens, joined Florida House as its new marketing chief. Tapping into his reserves of specialist addiction treatment marketing experience, Stevens almost immediately began pumping high quality census into Moustafa's new $12M residential facility while pushing Florida House into radio, TV and infomercial marketing channels.

On the purely medical and clinical side, noted treatment researcher and clinician Dr. Karen Dodge last year joined Florida House, where she is working with experimental brain therapies while raising the center's scientific profile. Another medical catch has been Dr. Ahmed Howeedy, Florida House's chief medical officer.

One of the most interesting aspects of Moustafa's voracious consumption of local real estate - he has bought and converted swaths of choice downtown Deerfield Beach, FL, in recent years - has been Florida House's conversion of a run-down fast food joint into an urgent care clinic located right next to the campus and open to the public. It is from this urgent care perch that Dr. Howeedy is currently attempting one of the most pioneering and risky medical entrepreneurial feats in addiction treatment  - the melding of addiction medicine and urgent care primary internal medicine in an effort to begin ridding addiction treatment of its persistent and pernicious "orphan" status within medicine overall.
