Gateway Board Adopts Raymond James Strategic Report  E-mail
Addiction Treatment Industry Newswire

09/24/2014 -ATIN - After a months long deep study and review, the Gateway Chicago Board of Directors has basically adopted the long term strategic plan recommended by a Raymond James advisory group hired earlier this year by the board as Gateway's long time CEO and highly respected leader Michael Darcy readies for retirement.

Final Touches

In an exclusive email exchange with Treatment Magazine, Darcy said "RJ made its presentation, the board adopted it, I am waiting for the final touches on the resolution to get the wording right." One of the ideas Darcy earlier told Treatment Magazine that Raymond James would be suggesting would be the creation of a for-profit unit at the traditionally VERY non-profit Gateway Chicago, although Darcy did not say in his email whether that idea was adopted by the board or even indeed whether the notion was even included in the report's final form.

Korn Ferry Led Search

Darcy said the executive search and advisory firm Korn Ferry would be leading the search for his replacement and that a call for resumes along with a description of the requirements and type of leader the board is seeking will soon be released by Korn Ferry and Gateway.
