03/21/2012 -ATIN- In one of the most significant public addiction treatment center, alcohol rehab and drug rehab investments nationwide currently, a $3M inpatient facility is being built in Missoula, MT. The $3 million Missoula Recovery Center is a project of the Western Montana Mental Health Center.

May 2013 Open

When it opens in May 2013, it will offer the only in-patient addiction program in western Montana, and one of only a handful in the state. The Rimrock Foundation, 38-beds, is the state's leading private addictions care provider and is arguably the nation's top center for treating gambling addiction, having early on identified the issue as among the top priority areas in addictions.

200 Clients

The plan for the new Missoula center is to start with 16 beds that offer an in-patient addiction program from three to 45 days. Annual capacity will be 200 patients a year and, as planned, an average 15-day visit for someone who is uninsured will cost an estimated $3,000. The annual payroll is estimated at $500,000 for 21 jobs.
